Thomas Frieling

Thomas Frieling has extensive work experience in various roles within the technology industry. Thomas is currently the Founder & Managing Partner of TechMiners, a position they have held since June 2019. Prior to this, they worked at TCF Ventures as a Coach, Interim-CTO, Tech-Consultant, and Developer starting in June 2008.

In 2017, Thomas founded DNTL1 and served as the CTO until November 2018. Thomas also founded Bonial.com in October 2008 and held the role of CTO until April 2015.

Before their entrepreneurial ventures, Thomas worked as the VP Software Engineering at ViiF Mobile Video GmbH from July 2007 to September 2008. Thomas also held the role of Lead Developer Speech Recognition at 8hertz Technologies GmbH from April 2004 to June 2007.

From 2003 to 2008, Thomas Frieling attended Hochschule für Technik und Wirtschaft Berlin, where they obtained a Master of Science (MSc) degree in Business Computing. In addition to their formal education, Thomas has also obtained several certifications from Coursera, including a Deep Learning Specialization, Sequence Models, Convolutional Neural Networks, Improving Deep Neural Networks: Hyperparameter tuning, Regularization and Optimization, Neural Networks and Deep Learning, and Structuring Machine Learning Projects. These certifications were all obtained in 2018, with specific months varying for each certification.
