Elena Rivera is an accomplished culinary professional with extensive experience in various roles within the food industry. Since November 2019, Elena serves as a Personal/Private Chef at Banwa and has held the position of ASEAN Master Assessor for Food Production at the Department of Tourism since January 2015. From July 2014, Elena has been a TESDA Certified Assessor, and since January 2013, a Certified Trainer & Assessor at TESDA. Additionally, Elena has been a Culinary Instructor at the Center for Asian Culinary Studies since 2010. Previous experience includes roles as a Sous Chef at Ascott Makati and Amanpulo Resort, along with serving as Assistant Executive Chef at Old Swiss Inn Restaurant & Catering. Elena holds a degree in Professional Culinary Arts, Cuisine and Pastry from the Center for Asian Culinary Studies and has a background in education from the University of the Philippines.
