Andrew Zappella

Andrew Zappella has a diverse and extensive work experience. Andrew is currently serving as the Chief Technology Officer at Technis since January 2023. Prior to this, they held the same position at Audacia Group, a Swiss-based eCommerce pure player, from January 2020 to October 2022.

Andrew was also the Managing Partner at Lightstreams.io, a role they held from September 2018 to November 2019. Before that, they worked at trivago as the Product & Engineering Lead from April 2017 to January 2019.

Andrew's entrepreneurial journey started with Base7booking.com Sàrl, where they served as the Co-founder & Head of Product Development from December 2012 to January 2019. Andrew then ventured into the advertising industry by co-founding and serving as the Managing Partner at Suisseo from August 2009 to September 2013. Andrew also held the position of Partner and Technology Consultant at Suisseo from September 2013 to August 2015.

Andrew began their career as an Undergraduate Assistant at the University of Lausanne from August 2009 to January 2011. Prior to that, they worked as a Project Manager at Procab Studio SA from February 2007 to July 2008. Andrew had earlier freelanced at Hyphylo as a Freelancer from January 2005 to February 2007.

Andrew Zappella obtained a Bachelor of Arts (BA) degree in Philosophy, English, and Linguistics from the University of Lausanne - UNIL, which they attended from 2008 to 2011. Prior to that, they completed their Swiss Maturité/Baccalauréat in Philosophy at Gymnase du Bugnon from 2003 to 2006. In addition to their formal education, Andrew Zappella also holds a TeamOps Certification from GitLab, which they obtained in February 2023.
