Timo Weese

Timo Weese is an IT student specializing in cybersecurity with extensive experience in various roles at MediaMarktSaturn since September 2019. Currently serving as Project Lead for infrastructure security projects under the Cyber Defense team, Timo manages Microsoft Defender and leads incident response efforts. Previously, Timo held the position of Associate System Engineer, focusing on security operations, technical evaluations of SOAR products, and improving security measures across multiple projects. Timo's early career involved building and enhancing the Splunk SIEM infrastructure and responding to significant security incidents. In addition to ongoing studies towards a Bachelor of Science in Cybersecurity at Technische Hochschule Ingolstadt, Timo serves as a Studienbotschafter for the cybersecurity program. Timo also has a background in system integration from prior education at Staatl. Berufsschule I Ingolstadt and has completed Abitur at Christoph-Scheiner-Gymnasium Ingolstadt.
