Jessica Ford

Jessica Ford is the Director of Startup Digest at Techstars. Jessica has previous experience working as a freelance writer, director, and editor. Jessica started their career as an intern at FILTER Magazine in August 2009 and then became the Home & Outdoor Section Editor for Journal Plus Magazine in June 2009. In May 2008, they became the Editorial Manager for Central Coast Home & Outdoor Magazine until it merged with Journal Plus Magazine in June 2009. Jessica then became the Copy Editor for Mustang Daily Newspaper from September 2007 to June 2008. After working as a freelance writer for OC Weekly from August 2009 to December 2014, they became the Director of Startup Digest at UP Global in September 2012 until they took their current position in June 2015.

Jessica Ford has a Bachelor of Science in Journalism - News/Editorial from California Polytechnic State University-San Luis Obispo.
