Brian P. Hession has a diverse work experience spanning multiple industries. Brian P. started their career as a Marketing Associate at Talbots in 1996. Brian P. then moved on to Protocol Marketing, where they served as the Director of List & Analytical Services, transforming the list department into a profit center. In 2000, they joined DigitasLBi_US as a Marketing Operations Manager, working on the Delta Airlines account. In 2002, they founded Oceanos, a data solutions company, which was later acquired by TechTarget in 2018. As the President & Founder of Oceanos, Brian led the company to become a market leader in demand generation, earning numerous accolades. Alongside their entrepreneurial pursuits, they served as a Board Member at The GrowthOps Community, a professional network focused on driving business growth. Brian P. also contributed to Merrimack College as a member of the Data Science & Business Analytics Advisory Board. In 2018, Brian joined TechTarget as the Vice President of Data Quality & Innovation, where they continue to advise internal teams and clients to optimize the application of data and technology for revenue generation.

Brian P. Hession holds an MBA in Entrepreneurial Management from the Questrom School of Business, Boston University, which they obtained from 2002 to 2005. Brian P. also has a BS in Marketing from Bentley University, earned between 1992 and 1996. In addition, Brian completed a Graduate Certificate Program in Data Visualization at Merrimack College in 2020. Brian P. also has a Direct Marketing Certificate from Bentley University.
