Oana David is a Research Scientist and Project Manager at TECNALIA Research & Innovation since April 2015, specializing in membrane science and product development, particularly in the industrial implementation of scientific findings. Prior to this role, Oana served as a postdoctoral researcher at RWTH Aachen University from October 2012 to February 2015, where responsibilities included interdisciplinary work in membrane-based gas separation and electrochemistry, conference organization, and project management. Oana began academic pursuits as a PhD student at Universidad de Cantabria from September 2007 to July 2012, contributing to a new research line in membrane gas separation and successfully fabricating polyimide-based asymmetric hollow fibre membranes at the University of Twente. Oana holds a Doctorate in Chemical Engineering and a Master’s degree in Chemical Engineering with a focus on Sustainable Production and Consumption from Universidad de Cantabria, as well as a degree in Polymer Science and Engineering from University POLITEHNICA of Bucharest.
