Virginia Castaños Madariaga

Virginia Castaños Madariaga has extensive experience in project management and innovation, currently serving as Directora de proyectos at TECNALIA Research & Innovation since January 2011, focusing on innovation systems. Prior roles include Directora de proyectos in both the Área de políticas e Innovación at Robotiker from January 1992 to December 2010 and the Engineering Telecommunications department at Teletek from October 1989 to December 1991. Additionally, Virginia held a position as a researcher in digital signal processing at Philips Research and Innovation in 1989, and researched artificial vision and motion pattern recognition at the Universidad de Deusto in 1988. The career began with an internship at the Nixdorf Computer services department for SMEs in 1987. Virginia holds a degree in Ingeniería Informática with a specialization in technological innovation strategies from the University of Deusto, obtained between 1993 and 1997.
