Cristian Zapata Vásquez

Cristian Zapata Vásquez is an experienced professional in the fields of audiovisual communication, arts management, and education. Since May 2017, Cristian has served as the Creative Director at Colectivo Cuarto Lado, focusing on the promotion and production of performing and audiovisual arts, emphasizing the integration of various artistic languages to explore human relationships with technology. Additionally, Cristian has been a teacher of audiovisual creation and transmedia narratives at Tecnológico de Artes Débora Arango since July 2021. Previous roles include content designer for the Red de Creación Escénica de Medellín, freelance communicator for Red Nómada Artes del Movimiento, and educator in audiovisual strategies for youth projects with Corporación Educativa COMBOS. Cristian holds a degree in Audiovisual Communication from Politécnico Colombiano 'Jaime Isaza Cadavid', complemented by further studies in dance and theater.
