Benjamin M. Locke

Benjamin M. Locke has been the CEO of Tecogen since May 2014. Prior to that, they were the Chief Executive Officer of TECOGEN INC/WALTHAM MA from May 2013 to May 2014. Benjamin has also been a Director of Business Development and Government Affairs at Metabolix from March 2001 to March 2013, where they were responsible for developing and executing plans for strategic arrangements with industry and Government for commercializing profitable new technologies in clean energy, renewable materials, and life sciences sectors. From February 1991 to March 2001, they were the Vice President, Research and Advanced Planning at IISI Corporation, where they were responsible for development of growth strategies for high-tech R&D Company. This position involved creation and implementation of business plans, securing funding for research and development of high tech systems, oversight of internal research projects, tracking and analysis of annual budgets and overhead management.

Benjamin M. Locke has a Master of Business Administration from Boston University and a Master of Science from Tufts University in the field of electro-optics. Benjamin also has a Bachelor of Science in physics from the University of Massachusetts Amherst.
