Ibrahim A. Rahman

Ibrahim A. Rahman, PhD has a diverse work experience spanning various industries and roles. Ibrahim began their career in 2004 as a Software Trainer at Al-Khateeb Computer Training Centre, specializing in AutoCAD. Ibrahim then worked as a Mechanical Construction Engineer at the SIVECO Automotive Factory Project in 2005. From 2006 to 2009, they served as a Mechanical Engineer at the Syrian Gas Company - ConocoPhillips Dez Gas Plant.

In 2009, Ibrahim joined Suncor Energy, where they held multiple roles, including Mechanical Construction & Commissioning Engineer and Mechanical Maintenance Sr. Supervisor/Engineer. At Suncor Energy, they supervised mechanical maintenance activities, coordinated with various teams, and reviewed construction procedures and drawings.

In 2015, Ibrahim became an Assistant Lecturer at Albaath University, teaching Thermodynamics and Renewable Energy Technologies and supervising graduate projects. Ibrahim then transitioned to the role of Technical Project Manager at Doosan Škoda Power in 2018. In this role, they managed major international projects, developed procurement contracts, and led a diverse team.

Currently, Ibrahim is the Head of Project Management at TEDOM, where they oversee project management activities. With a PhD in an undisclosed field, Ibrahim's work experience showcases their expertise in technical project management, mechanical engineering, and renewable energy technologies.

Ibrahim A. Rahman, PhD. earned their PhD. in Design and Process Engineering from Brno University of Technology in 2022. Prior to that, they obtained a Master of Science (MSc.) degree in Mechanical Power Engineering with a focus on Fluid & Plasma Dynamics from Al Baath' University in Syria from 2008 to 2013. Ibrahim also holds a Diploma in Renewable Energy from Al Baath' University in Syria, which they earned from 2006 to 2008. Ibrahim received their Engineering degree in Mechanical Power Engineering from Al Baath' University in Syria from 2000 to 2005. In addition to their academic achievements, they have obtained various certifications in areas such as computing, maintenance planning & scheduling, mechanical seals, manlift operation, turbine maintenance, compressor maintenance, bearing technology, and mechanical maintenance.
