Danielle Schmidt Horowitz

Events Director at TEDxCambridge

Danielle Schmidt Horowitz has a diverse background in event production and management. Danielle began their career as a Development Assistant at The Metropolitan Museum of Art in 2002 and later moved on to work as a Special Events coordinator at Citymeals-on-Wheels and The New York Public Library. In 2007, they started freelancing as an Event Manager, and in 2013, they joined White & Case as an Event Specialist. Danielle then worked as an Events Manager at Boston Lyric Opera from 2015 to 2016. Danielle also served as the Events Director at TEDxCambridge starting in 2016. Currently, they work as an Event Consultant at DSH Event Production, where they create unique experiences for corporate and non-profit sectors. Some of their notable clients include TEDxCambridge, Boston Lyric Opera, and Girls Leadership of Oakland.

Danielle Schmidt Horowitz completed their Graduate Coursework in Non-Profit/Public/Organizational Management at Columbia University from 2009 to 2011. Prior to that, they attained a Bachelor of Fine Arts (BFA) degree at Cornell University. Danielle also attended The Hotchkiss School. No specific degree or field of study was provided for their time at The Hotchkiss School.
