Chris Robinson serves as the Industrial Decarbonisation & Hydrogen Design Lead at Arup, focusing on projects aimed at industrial decarbonisation in the Teesside region to support the UK's Net Zero goals. In addition, Chris is the Director of CER Technologies Ltd., providing independent engineering consultancy services in thermofluids and related fields, including CFD modelling and fluid systems analysis across various industries. As Industrial Decarbonisation Project Manager for the Tees Valley Combined Authority, Chris engages with local industries to determine decarbonisation strategies necessary for achieving net zero by 2040. Previously, Chris held various roles at MMI Thornton Tomasetti, UMIST Thermofluids Group, Bechtel, and the UK Ministry of Defence, accumulating extensive experience in thermofluids and computational fluid dynamics. Chris holds a PhD in CFD & Turbulence Modelling from The University of Manchester and additional degrees in Computational Fluid Dynamics and Mechanical Engineering from the University of Leeds.
