Wallace Soares

Wallace Soares has a diverse work experience spanning several industries and roles.

Wallace held the position of Global Head of Sales Process at Tega Industries, where they partnered with global sales leadership to establish a unified sales process and system infrastructure. Wallace focused on automation and maximizing sales efficiency, while also leading the implementation of CRM-Salesforce. As a General Manager for Europe and the Middle East, they managed all branches and business in the region, developed relationships with mining companies, and executed marketing and sales plans. Wallace also served as a Regional Sales Manager for Europe and a Regional Manager for Latin America during their time at Tega Industries.

Additionally, Soares worked as a Professional Fund Investment Manager at Haia and as a Sales and Marketing Manager for Latin America at Shri Balaji. Wallace began their career at Vale, where they held various roles including Coordinator of Strategic Raw Materials Department, Mineral and Metallurgist Process Specialist, and Mining Planner. Wallace was involved in software development, process improvement projects, and mining planning.

Soares also has experience as a business founder, having started Mahara, a wine house and restaurant, which aimed to provide a unique gastronomic experience. Furthermore, they briefly served as a University Professor at UCL - Faculdade do Centro Leste, teaching various disciplines related to the steel industry, mineral beneficiation, mining operations, and machining and mechanical properties of materials.

Wallace Soares has a comprehensive education history. From 1996 to 2000, they attended Escola Técnica Federal de Ouro Preto (ETFOP), where they earned a degree as a Técnico em Mineração (Mining Technician). Throughout this program, they studied various subjects, including Mining, Geology, and Topography.

Following their time at ETFOP, Wallace Soares pursued further education at Universidade Federal do Espírito Santo (Oficial) from 2001 to 2005. During this period, they earned a degree in Engineering, with a specialization in Mechanics.

Continuing their academic journey, Wallace Soares then attended Instituto Tecnológico de Aeronáutica (ITA) from 2006 to 2011. Although their degree is unspecified, they focused their studies on Computational Fluid Dynamics and Combustion.
