Kirk Rumsey

Kirk Rumsey has extensive work experience in procurement and supply chain management. Kirk began their career in the United States Air Force, where they served as a Program Manager and Acquisition Manager. After leaving the military, they worked as a Quality Program Coordinator and Project Manager in the private sector. Rumsey then transitioned into the role of Purchasing Manager at Owens-Illinois, where they eventually became the Purchasing Director for the Plastics Group. Kirk also held leadership positions at Rexam, where they oversaw global supply chain operations and served as the VP of Global Commodities. Most recently, Rumsey has worked at Tekni-Plex, Inc., initially as the VP of Global Procurement, and later as the VP of Procurement & GM of US Films.

Kirk Rumsey attended the University of Michigan from 1981 to 1985, where they obtained a Bachelor of Science in Aerospace Engineering. Kirk then pursued further education at the U.S. Air Force Institute of Technology from 1989 to 1990 and earned a Master of Science in Systems Management, which is considered equivalent to an MBA.
