Merja Partio

Merja Partio has a diverse work experience spanning over two decades. Merja is currently employed at Teknos as the Operations Director since November 2021. Prior to that, they served as a Member of the Board at Osuuskauppa Varuboden-Osla Handelslag starting from January 2019. From September 2016 to October 2021, they worked as the OHS Director at UPM - The Biofore Company. Merja also held various roles at Borealis, including HSE Manager, Production Manager, Project Manager, and Project Controller from 2007 to 2016. Their career began as a Production Engineer at Solvay in October 2001 and lasted until August 2007.

Merja Partio holds a Master's degree in Business Administration and Management, General from Aalto University, which they obtained from 2008 to 2012. Prior to that, they also obtained a Master's degree in Chemical Engineering from Teknillinen korkeakoulu-Tekniska högskolan from 1996 to 2001.
