Neal Hoover

Neal Hoover serves as a Systems Administrator at TEKsystems since May 2024, bringing extensive experience from a long tenure at Tippett Studio from July 1998 to June 2024. In the role of Systems Engineer, Neal led a significant initiative to consolidate and virtualize end-of-life hardware servers into a High Availability VMware vSphere cluster, resulting in cost savings, modernization of technologies, and improved uptime. Neal also collaborated on the first detailed disaster recovery plan for the company and maintained critical licensing services for CG software. Previous roles included providing Tier 2 support for over 200 users, creating documentation for troubleshooting procedures, and managing the configuration and deployment of Linux workstations and servers, as well as offering Tier 1 support and handling backup schedules as a Systems Administrator Assistant.
