Udi Jacobzon

Udi Jacobzon is a distinguished cardiac surgeon with extensive experience in the field of cardiac and thoracic surgery. Currently serving as the Director of Mechanical Circulatory Support at Tel Aviv Medical Center since October 2024, Udi previously held the position of Director of the Mechanical Circulatory Support Unit and Attending Cardiac Surgeon at Shaare Zedek Medical Center from September 2017 to October 2024. Udi also completed a cardiac surgery fellowship at Emory University Hospital from August 2015 to July 2017, where duties included serving as chief resident. Prior to that, Udi was involved in cardiothoracic surgery as both a resident and attending at Rabin Medical Center from April 2007 to June 2015. Udi holds a Doctor of Medicine (M.D.) degree from Ben Gurion University, earned between 1999 and 2006.
