Pawel Smalinski

Pawel Smalinski has a diverse and extensive work experience spanning several companies and roles. Pawel currently holds the position of VP Region Europe at Telavox, a Unified Communications as a Service (UCaaS) provider. In this role, Pawel is responsible for bringing together telephony, PBX, messaging, meetings, and contact centers into one app. Pawel has been in this position since June 2022.

Before joining Telavox, Pawel served as the Managing Director & Founder of Vector369, a management consulting and digital solutions catalyst. Their role here involved propelling organizations towards market disruption and challenging established ways of thinking. Pawel held this position from December 2018 onwards.

Prior to Vector369, Pawel acted as the Chief Executive Officer of Geocell, a leading customer loyalty mobile operator in Georgia. During their tenure from October 2014 to December 2018, Pawel oversaw highly agile operations with a focus on customer service and cost efficiency.

Pawel also served as a Member of the Board of Directors at KazTransCom, a communication service provider in Kazakhstan, from May 2014 to November 2018. At KazTransCom, their main responsibilities included the provision of telecommunication and internet infrastructure services.

In addition, Pawel has a significant history with Telia Carrier, where they held various managerial positions. Pawel served as the Managing Director for Poland, Turkey, Romania, and Bulgaria as well as the Regional Sales Director for CEE, Russia, and MEA. Prior to that, they were the Managing Director for Turkey, Romania, and Bulgaria, and the Sales Director for Emerging Markets. Pawel also held the role of Managing Director for Czech Republic and Slovakia, and the Sales Manager for the Balkans Region. Their journey with Telia Carrier started as a Bid Manager for Central and Eastern Europe.

Before their involvement with Telia Carrier, Pawel was the Direct Sales Manager for the North region at Polkomtel.

Overall, Pawel Smalinski brings a wealth of experience in various leadership positions within the telecommunications and management consulting industries.

Pawel Smalinski earned an MSc degree in Electro Engineering from Gdynia Maritime University, where they studied from 1989 to 1995. Pawel also pursued a degree in Economics with a focus on Marketing & Logistic at Niels Brock from 1993 to 1994. In addition, they obtained their Master of Business Administration (MBA) in Economics from the University of Gdansk, where they studied from 1999 to 2001.
