Mall Allpere

Mall Allpere has a diverse work experience spanning over several companies and roles. They began their career as an Interaction Designer at Myra Industriell Design AB, where they were responsible for projects such as developing screen graphics and usability for a blood centrifuge. They then joined Electrolux AB as an Interaction Designer and later became the Senior Design Manager - User Experience, leading UX projects and implementing customer-focused design practices. Mall also worked as a Freelance Lecturer, giving UX lectures and workshops for Masterstudents and startup companies. They further contributed to the field by consulting and tutoring at Umeå University's Institute of Design. Mall continued their career as the UX and Service Design Manager at Telia Company, responsible for strategy and delivery of B2B UX projects. They also had multiple roles at Swedbank, including UX Team Manager and Acting Head of UX. Currently, Mall holds the position of Head of UX & Product Design at Tele2, where they manage a team of designers across multiple brands and areas.

Mall Allpere holds a Master's degree in Interaction Design from Umeå University, which was obtained from 1997 to 1999. Prior to that, Mall earned a BA in Industrial Design from Konstfack between 1993 and 1997. Mall also pursued various courses in Business Administration, French, and Philosophy at Stockholm University from 1991 to 1994. Additionally, Mall completed a preparatory course in design and crafts at Nyckelvikskolan, Stockholm in 1992-1993. Mall's high school education was completed in Natural Sciences at Södra Latins Gymnasium from 1988 to 1991. In terms of additional certifications, Mall obtained an Agile Certification from Softhouse in 2014.
