David Ciarniello

David Ciarniello has an extensive career in IT and telecommunications, currently serving as the Head of IT Security, Resilience and Compliance Plans at TIM since June 2002. In this role, David is responsible for the setup, coordination, and monitoring of IT plans to ensure system security, resilience, compliance with data protection regulations, ISO standards, and governance of IT assets. Previously, David held the position of ICT Audit Manager, where responsibilities included evaluating and improving the internal control system across Telecom Italia Group, coordinating audit teams, and reporting critical findings to executive management. David's early career included roles at Vitrociset, where involvement in the EGNOS project was noted, and Progetel Distribuzione Italia, focusing on billing and data mining solutions. Educational credentials include a master’s degree in Telecommunications Engineering from Sapienza Università di Roma and a classical diploma from Liceo Classico Tito Lucrezio Caro.
