Kai Song

Kai Song has extensive work experience in engineering and leadership roles. They currently hold the position of Senior Director of Systems Engineering at Teledyne FLIR. Prior to this, Kai worked at Teledyne Technologies Incorporated, where they served as Program Engineering Director and Senior Manager of Systems Engineering. In these roles, Kai led various engineering activities, developed product specifications, established business relationships with customers, and served as the chief engineer for the development of infrared detectors. Before joining Teledyne, Kai worked as a Senior Semiconductor Laser Engineer at JDSU and a Senior Optical Systems Engineer at Sycamore Networks. They also held a research fellow position at the University of Melbourne.

Kai Song obtained a Ph.D. in Microwave and Electromagnetic Field from Beijing University of Posts and Telecommunications, completing their studies from 1992 to 1995.
