Alufeyo Mgungwe

Alufeyo Mgungwe has a strong background in the IT industry, with a focus on telecommunications. From 2005 to 2007, they worked as a Computer Engineer at Office Machines Services & Repairs. Then, from 2007 to 2009, they held the position of IT Service Desk Officer at Malawi Telecommunications Ltd. Since 2012, they have been employed as an IT Specialist at Telekom Networks Malawi Limited.

Alufeyo Mgungwe began their education at Mzimba Secondary School from 1997 to 2000, where they obtained an MSCE. They then pursued a Diploma in Information Technology with a specialization in Software and Hardware at the University of Malawi - The Polytechnic from 2000 to 2004. Afterward, from 2001 to 2024, Alufeyo attended The Polytechnic - Malawi University, where they obtained another Diploma in Information Technology. From 2016 to 2022, they studied at MANCOSA, earning a Bachelor of Commerce (BCom) degree in Computer/Information Technology Administration and Management. During the same period at MANCOSA, Alufeyo also pursued another Bachelor of Commerce (BCom) degree in Information Technology Management, focusing on Information Technology Project Management.
