Highton Makawa

Highton Makawa has extensive work experience in the field of network and IT support. Highton started their career at Malawi Net Ltd in 2007, where they worked as a Network Engineer and RF Engineer until 2009. Highton then served as an IT Officer at Parad / Business Machines from 2009 to 2010. After that, they worked as a Network Support Analyst at Burco from 2010 to 2016, where they were responsible for managing and maintaining local area network equipment. In 2015, Highton joined Telekom Networks Malawi Limited as a System Support Specialist, where they installed and maintained network systems and equipment, monitored network performance, and analyzed network data. Additionally, they worked at TNM as a Supervisor-Business Service Engineer from 2015 to 2016, troubleshooting network issues and installing various network and computer equipment.

Highton Makawa holds a Master of Business Administration (MBA) degree in Operations Management and Supervision from Amity Online, which was completed from 2021 to 2023. Prior to that, from 2014 to 2017, Highton Makawa attended Amity University Noida and earned a Bachelor's of science in IT. In 2010 to 2012, Highton Makawa studied at Cisco College and obtained the CCNA certification. Additionally, Highton Makawa has a diploma in Information Technologies with a focus on Systems Support / Electrical and Electronics / CCNA from an unspecified Polytechnic institution.
