Olivier Herbreteau

Olivier Herbreteau is a seasoned patent attorney with extensive experience in the pharmaceutical and biotechnology sectors, currently serving as Principal Patent Counsel & Lead Business Partner for Vaccines at Sanofi since August 2011. Responsibilities include providing comprehensive patent support for Sanofi's vaccines global business unit, managing a team of patent attorneys, and executing offensive and defensive patent strategies. Previous roles at Sanofi involved expertise in patent due diligence and contract negotiation for M&A activities, biologics development, and corporate licensing. Olivier also contributes as a mentor at Télémaque and has held board member positions in organizations such as LES France. Extensive educational qualifications include an LL.M. in Intellectual Property Law from Queen Mary University of London and an M.Sc. in Biotech Engineering from Polytech Nice Sophia.
