Thusitha Kariyawasam

Thusitha Kariyawasam is a seasoned software engineer with extensive experience in application development and engineering leadership. Currently serving as a Senior Software Engineer at Telepathy Labs since December 2021, Thusitha is involved in mentoring, defining development approaches, and architecting applications. Prior experience includes working as an Application Consultant at UOB, where responsibilities included team leadership, application design, and DevOps support, and as a Senior Software Engineer at Pearson, focusing on application maintenance and technology implementation. Earlier roles encompass software engineering positions at xcendant, Onbit Labs, and Inovect, complemented by significant educational credentials including an MBA from the University of Suffolk and a Bachelor’s degree in Mathematics, Statistics, and Computer Science from the University of Peradeniya.
