Jon Sperber

Jon Sperber has a diverse work experience spanning over several years. Jon began their career in 1997 at Pacific Turnkey Systems as a Help Desk/Desktop Publisher, where they provided technical support and assisted with software design and testing. Jon then moved on to GateKeeper Management in 1998 as a Computer Technologies Supervisor, responsible for designing and implementing a Windows NT Network.

In 1999, Sperber joined Averstar in support of the Deep Space Network, where they worked as a System Administrator. Jon provided user support, managed accounts, resolved security issues, and performed system backups and restorations.

Sperber then joined PSINet as a System Administrator in 2000, where they managed a small team and installed software on numerous servers. Jon also created and maintained the intranet for the Network Operations Center.

From 2001 to 2006, Sperber worked at Computer Sciences Corporation (CSC) as a Senior Member of Technical Staff. In this role, they managed and administered a resource domain and a voicemail domain, consisting of various servers and software.

In 2006, Sperber joined Countrywide as a Server Engineer II. Jon provided support and management for systems in the Treasury Department and implemented various management solutions.

In 2008, Sperber moved to TMZ as an Assistant Director of IT. Jon delivered IT support for a digital television production studio and took on the role of IT Director in the absence of the regular director. Jon also led IT projects, including a SharePoint implementation and tape closing and disaster recovery.

Finally, in 2010, Sperber joined Telepictures as the Broadcast IT Director at Extra. Jon provided IT support for a post-production facility, managed servers and workstations, and implemented digital workflows for media management.

Overall, Sperber has extensive experience in IT support, administration, management, and project leadership across various industries.

Jon Sperber has a diverse education history. In 1984, they obtained an Associate of Arts degree in General ED from Pierce College. Jon then attended California State University, Long Beach from 1986 to 1988, majoring in Criminal Justice. Following that, from 1988 to 1990, they pursued a Bachelor of Arts degree in Sociology at California State University, Northridge. In 1997, they earned a Certificate in Programming & Data Management from the same university. Additionally, Jon Sperber obtained several certifications from Microsoft, including Microsoft Certified Professional + Internet in February 1999, Microsoft Certified Systems Engineer: Windows NT 4.0 in February 1999, and Microsoft Certified Professional in December 1998.
