Robert Karch

Rob has over 25 years experience in the software industry developing advanced systems management and data security software solutions combining expert systems, machine learning, analytics and database technologies. Rob has been responsible for the innovative design and development of Teleran’s award-winning software solutions. While working at Teleran, Rob has been awarded nine patents covering innovations in fraud detection and security, user behavior profiling, automated security controls, dynamic rules-based systems, machine learning, and contextualized monitoring and analytics.

Prior to founding Teleran, Rob served as Chief Architect of Information Builders’ advanced software applications division where he designed innovative and commercially successful products in the business intelligence and data warehousing arena. Before joining Information Builders, Rob held programming, design and product development roles at Harris Corporation, where he created one of the first commercially successful network diagnostic applications based on expert system techniques. Rob earned a BA in Physics from the State University College of New York at Geneseo and an MS in Physics from Florida State University.
