Jane Craighead, PhD, CPA, CA has extensive corporate director experience, with roles at various companies such as Telesat, Wajax, Crombie REIT, IPG - Intertape Polymer Group, and Jarislowsky, Fraser Limited, starting from 2018. Jane has served on multiple committees and has held senior positions at different organizations, including Clearwater Seafoods LP, where they were involved in the sale process. Before their director positions, they had a successful career in human resources, serving as the SVP Global Human Resources at Scotiabank and holding leadership roles at Rio Tinto and Alcan.

Jane Craighead, PhD, CPA, CA completed their education at McGill University and Mount Allison University. From 1976 to 1980, they attended Mount Allison University where they pursued a Bachelor of Commerce degree with a focus on Accounting. Jane then went on to study at McGill University from 1980 to 1981, obtaining a Graduate Diploma in Public Accounting. Later, Jane returned to McGill University and pursued a PhD in Management with a specialization in Accounting and Economics from 1991 to 1996. In addition to their academic qualifications, they also hold the certification of CPA CA, which they obtained in December 1982 from the Chartered Professional Accountants of Ontario (CPA Ontario).
