Britta Regli-von Ungern-Sternberg

Britta Regli-von Ungern-Sternberg has a strong background in the field of paediatric anaesthesia. Britta began their career as an Anaesthetic Registrar at Universitätsspital Basel in 2001, where they worked until 2005. In 2006, they joined Hôpitaux Universitaires de Genève as a Fellow in Paediatric Anaesthesia. It was in 2007 when they became a Consultant Paediatric Anaesthetist at Princess Margaret Hospital for Children. In 2009, they took on the role of Clinical Associate Professor at The University of Western Australia, and later became the Chair of Paediatric Anaesthesia in August 2010. Britta also served as an Honorary Research Fellow at Telethon Kids Institute starting from 2010.

Britta Regli-von Ungern-Sternberg's education history is as follows:

From 1994 to 2000, they attended The University of Freiburg, where they earned a Doctor of Medicine (M.D.) degree in Medical School.

In 1999-2000, they studied at the University of Cape Town, specializing in Medical School.

In 2000, they attended the University of Sydney's Medical School.

From 2001 to 2007, they pursued further specialization in Anaesthesia and obtained the title of Specialist in Anaesthesia from the German Medical Society and the title of FMH Anaesthesia from the Swiss Medical Association.

In 2001-2003, they also became a Diplomate of the European Academy of Anaesthesiology and Intensive Care.

Britta then pursued their Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.) in Respiratory Physiology at the University of Szeged from 2006 to 2009.

From 2007 to 2011, they became a Fellow of the Australian and New Zealand College of Anaesthetists (FANZCA).
