Grace-Alyssa Chua has a diverse work experience spanning several years. Grace-Alyssa started their professional journey in 2012 as an intern at Saturn Biotech Limited. Grace-Alyssa then moved on to Murdoch University, where they completed another internship from December 2013 to February 2014. In 2014, Grace-Alyssa joined the Telethon Kids Institute as an animal technician, gaining valuable experience before transitioning into a research assistant role for the same company. Grace-Alyssa worked there until 2016. Lastly, Grace-Alyssa joined Ondek in 2014 as a research assistant until February 2016.
Grace-Alyssa Chua started their education in 2008 at INTI College Sarawak, where they pursued Cambridge A levels. Grace-Alyssa completed their studies at INTI College Sarawak in 2009. Following this, they attended Murdoch University from 2011 to 2013. At Murdoch University, they obtained a Bachelor of Science (B.Sc.) degree in Molecular Biology and Biomedical Science. Additionally, they have a certification in animal ethics, welfare, and science called the Program in Animal Ethics Welfare and Science (PAWES) Certificate, which they obtained from The University of Western Australia.
