Jessica Simms has a wide range of work experience, starting in 2004 as an English Language Teacher in various schools internationally. Jessica then worked as a Service Delivery Manager at Sencia Ltd from December 2007 to July 2009, followed by a role as a Senior Teacher at Comunicorp Chile from July 2009 to June 2010. Jessica then became a Project Manager at Studio Cambridge from June 2010 to July 2014, before joining Ieso Digital Health as a Service Delivery Manager from July 2014 to June 2016. From October 2016 to August 2018, they worked as a Program Manager at the National Heart, Lung, and Blood Institute. Jessica then joined the Health Finance Institute as a Director of Organizational Development in April 2019, until November 2020. Their most recent role is as a Senior Strategic Project Manager at the Telethon Kids Institute starting in February 2022.

Jessica Simms has a strong educational background with a Master of Arts degree in Organisational Culture and Leadership, which they obtained from Anglia Ruskin University between 2011 to 2014. Prior to that, they earned their Bachelor of Arts degree in Social Sciences from Nottingham Trent University, graduating between 2000 and 2004.

In addition to their formal education, Jessica Simms has also obtained several certifications. In 2017, they completed a certification in Organizational Psychology from The University of Western Australia. In 2015, they obtained a certification in Prince II Project Management: Foundation and Practitioner from AXELOS Global Best Practice. Furthermore, in 2004, they completed a certification as a Teacher of English to Speakers of Other Languages from Trinity International University.
