Telethon Kids Institute
Thomas Nguyen's work experience includes a role as a Research Assistant at the Telethon Kids Institute starting in 2022. Prior to this, they worked at Curtin University, where they served as an Appeal Ambassador for the Moorditj Yorga scholarships program, advocating for Aboriginal and Torres Straits Islander Women. In this role, Thomas utilized strong emotional intelligence, interpersonal and communication skills to engage with the Curtin Alumni Community. Thomas also held the position of Student Ambassador, assisting with various activities, presentations, and campus tours for prospective students.
Thomas Nguyen attended Curtin University from 2019 to 2021, where they pursued a Bachelor of Health Sciences degree with a focus on Health Services/Allied Health/Health Sciences, General. Additionally, in 2019, they completed a Diploma in Project Management at South Metropolitan TAFE. In July 2021, Thomas obtained a certification called "New to Curtin Mentoring Semster 1 2021" from Curtin University.
