Maria Spanos has over 16 years of work experience in various roles within the telecommunications industry. Maria began their career as a Delivery Coordinator at Telenor Sverige AB in 2006. Maria then moved on to work as a Team Leader, Go To Market Manager, and Product Manager at Telenor. During their time at Telenor, they were responsible for broadband and worked closely with their team to develop profitable and high-quality products. Maria also managed product launches, development projects, and campaigns that impacted customer service.
In 2015, Maria joined Telia as a Product Manager, where they played a key role in launching Telia's services in external fiber networks and was responsible for the launch of new wifi-routers and tv-boxes. Maria went on to hold positions as the Business Manager for Broadband and the Business Manager Lead for Telia's mobile team within Business Management, Small Business. In their latest role at Telia, Maria served as the Head of Go To Market, where they were responsible for the GTM strategy within the SME business unit.
Currently, Maria is the Head of Sales and Logistics Development B2C at Telia. In this role, they lead a team of Product Owners, Business Developers, Process Owners, Process Managers, and Change Managers. Their primary responsibility is to lead the development of the Sales and Logistics Process and be business responsible for Sales and Hardware systems. Throughout their career, Maria has demonstrated their ability to drive results, lead teams, and execute strategies.
Maria Spanos attended SingularityU Nordic in 2020, where they studied Singularity. Prior to that, they studied Business Insight at Bild & Runsten until 2019. In 2009, they took three modules in Project Management at Telenor. Additionally, they studied Business Development at Jensen Education from 2004 to 2005 and Graphic Design and Marketing at Nacka MG from 2000 to 2003.
