Dalton Yap

Dalton Yap has a diverse work experience spanning various industries. Dalton started their career as a Full-time National Serviceman in the Singapore Armed Forces, where they were in charge of a team for over two years. Following this, they worked as a Tutor for online tuition agencies for three years. Yap then joined Oracle, where they served as a Business Analyst and later as a Sales Consultant for Oracle Technology Sales Consulting and Oracle Fusion Middleware. Dalton also worked as a Lead Solutions Architect, conducting technical demos and presentations for Oracle Database. After their time at Oracle, Yap joined SingTel as a Product Specialist, where they conducted customer discussions and designed solutions for data center hosting and cloud computing services. Currently, Yap is working at Telin (PT Telekomunikasi Indonesia International), where they have held roles as a Senior Product Manager, Head of Product and Solution Architect, and currently as the Head of Product. In their current position, they are responsible for the product lifecycle of a portfolio of products and services, with a focus on data center colocation.

Dalton Yap received their Bachelor's degree in Computer Engineering (Faculty of Engineering) from the National University of Singapore from 2006 to 2010. Dalton also attended The University of Hong Kong in 2009, where they pursued another Bachelor's degree in Computer Engineering (Faculty of Engineering). In terms of additional certifications, Dalton obtained an Oracle Certified Professional in Oracle Database 11g from Oracle in March 2012 and became a Certified Data Centre Professional from EXIN in October 2013.
