Oliver Boom

Oliver Boom is an experienced investment professional currently serving in an investment role at IPGL since August 2021, focusing on venture capital and private equity, with responsibilities in origination and due diligence, as well as strategic advisory for portfolio companies. Concurrently, Oliver holds various board positions, including with Sunsave, which promotes solar energy adoption in the UK; Bordeaux Index, a leading wine and spirits merchant; Aker English Aperitif, which specializes in distilled spirits from English countryside; and serves as a board observer at Tellimer and Nutshell Asset Management. Prior to these roles, Oliver worked as a Senior Data & Machine Learning Engineer at Amazon Web Services and held a position as a Machine Learning Engineer at ChAI. Educational qualifications include a Master of Science in Applied Computational Science from Imperial College London and a Master of Engineering in Aerospace Engineering from the University of Bristol, complemented by time at KTH Royal Institute of Technology.
