Kovács Zoltán

Kovács Zoltán has a diverse work experience in academia and industry. Kovács started as an Assistant Professor at Corvinus University of Budapest in 2010, leading research on electronic tongues. Kovács then became a Postdoctoral Research Fellow at Kobe University, focusing on NIR spectroscopy and aquaphotomics. Later, they worked as an Assistant Professor and then an Associate Professor at Szent István University, leading research teams and projects related to electronic tongues and near-infrared research. In 2016, they joined TellSpec Inc. as the VP of Data Analytics before transitioning to their current role as a full professor and International Affairs Advisor at the Hungarian University of Agriculture and Life Sciences in 2021.

Kovács Zoltán earned a Master's Degree in Food Science from Corvinus University of Budapest in 2007. Kovács continued their education at the same university and obtained a Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.) in Food Science in 2010. In 2011, they pursued additional studies at Tanösvény Oktatási és Kereskedelmi Kft. for OKJ - 5234105 in Food and cleaning supplies sales management and Sales manager training.
