Chris Chan

Chris Chan has extensive work experience in various roles related to organization development, talent management, and human resources. Chris currently holds the position of Head of People at Telum Media since November 2023. Previously, they worked as the Head of Organization Development & Effectiveness at U Mobile from July 2020 to November 2023, and as the Head of Organization Development at Gibraltar BSN Life Berhad from January 2018 to June 2020. Chris also has experience as an HRBP at AIA in 2016, Senior Talent, Learning & Development Manager at Hong Leong Bank Berhad in 2013, and Associate Director, Global Talent Development at Merck from 2010 to 2013. Additionally, they served as the Head of Personal and Managerial Effectiveness at Maybank from 2001 to 2010 and began their career as a Software Engineer at ELock in 2001. Prior to that, Chris held a global leadership role at Emery Oleochemicals GmbH from 2014 to 2016, managing offices and plants across different regions.

Chris Chan earned a Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science from the University Science of Malaysia from 1998 to 2001. In 2008, they pursued a Master of Business Administration (M.B.A.) with a specialization in Masters in Business Admin from Universiti Terbuka Wawasan. During the same year, they also obtained a Professional Certification in Human Resource Management from the Malaysian Institute of Human Resource Management (MIHRM). Currently, they are studying Clinical Hypnotherapy at the London College of Clinical Hypnosis (LCCH), expected to be completed between 2021 and 2023. Additionally, Chris Chan has obtained various certifications in skills such as communication, leadership, coaching, and stress management from institutions like Skillsoft, Gallup, and LinkedIn.
