Jesslyn Dymond has extensive experience in data governance and ethics, currently serving as Director of Data Ethics, Director of Data Governance, and Responsible AI Specialist at TELUS since January 2019. Prior to this role, Jesslyn worked at Symcor from July 2009 to December 2018 in various positions, including Privacy & Data Governance Officer, Privacy and Information Management Officer, and Records Management Coordinator. Additional experience includes serving as Content Manager at the Community Museum of Wemindji from July 2008 to June 2010, an Archives Volunteer at the Royal Ontario Museum, and a Strategic Policy & Planning Research Assistant at the Ontario Ministry of Culture. Jesslyn holds a Masters of Information Studies, specializing in Library Science and Records Management from the University of Toronto and an Honours Bachelor of Arts in Geography and Canadian Studies from McGill University.
