Marcela Chaves

Marcela Chaves has extensive experience in corporate and commercial law. Marcela currently holds the position of Corporate Legal Manager - Governance, M&A and Financing at Tembici since April 2022. Additionally, they are an Associate at Women in Law Mentoring Brazil - WLM since May 2022.

Prior to their current roles, Marcela worked as Coordenadora Jurídica - Generalista at Triunfo Participações e Investimentos S.A. from December 2020 to April 2022. Marcela also served as Senior Lawyer in the areas of Corporate Governance and Corporate Law at CESP from August 2019 to December 2020 and at GOL Linhas Aéreas Inteligentes from January 2018 to July 2019.

Marcela has also gained experience at Ricardo Eletro (Máquina de Vendas) as Coordenadora Jurídica - Societário e Contratos from October 2016 to December 2017, and as Pleno Lawyer - Societário e Contratos from January 2015 to October 2016. Marcela started their legal career as a Junior Lawyer - Societário at VELLOZA ADVOGADOS ASSOCIADOS from July 2014 to January 2015, and as a Junior Lawyer - Civil Business at BCCTorres Advocacia Corporativa from August 2012 to November 2013.

Marcela Chaves has a diverse education history. Marcela completed their Pós-Graduação in Direito Societário from FGV - Fundação Getulio Vargas from 2016 to 2018. Prior to that, they pursued their Mestrado in Direito Empresarial from Universidad de Ciencias Empresariales y Sociales between 2012 and 2015. Marcela holds a Bacharelado in Direito, which they obtained from Faculdade Ruy Barbosa during the period of 2006 to 2011. Marcela completed their Ensino Médio from Colégio Módulo from 2003 to 2005.
