Biba Visnjicki has a diverse work experience, starting with their current role as the Global Head of Technology and Digitalisation at Tembo Group since May 2021. Prior to this, they served as the Managing Director of the Fraunhofer Project Center at the University of Twente from February 2018 to April 2021, and as the Director of Business Development from February 2017 to March 2018. Before that, they were the Managing Director and Owner of CoddeL from April 2008 to January 2017. Their earlier experience includes working as a Business Development Manager at Demcon from February 2005 to April 2008, and as the Head of Production at Soko Stark from September 1996 to April 2001, where they managed all aspects of chocolate production and supervised 73 personnel.
Biba Visnjicki obtained their Engineer's Degree in Chemical Engineering from the University of Belgrade, where they studied from 1989 to 1994. Biba then pursued a Master's Degree in Chemical Engineering from the same institution, completing their studies from 1994 to 1997. Later, they earned a PhD in Process Technology from the University of Twente, where they studied from 2001 to 2006.
In addition to their formal education, Biba Visnjicki has also obtained several certifications. Biba completed the "Programma voor Commissarissen en Toezichthouders" from the Erasmus Governance Institute in May 2023 and achieved the "SER Topvrouw" certification from SER Topvrouwen in April 2023. In August 2019, they completed the certification course "Artificial Intelligence: Implications for Business Strategy" from MIT Sloan School of Management. In February 2017, they obtained the certification for the course "INDUSTRY 4.0: Future of Manufacturing" from IESE Business School. Furthermore, they completed the "International MasterClass Strategic Business Intelligence" from Rodenberg Tillman & Associates in May 2015. Biba also holds a certification as a "QFD Black Belt" from the QFD Institute, although the month and year of completion are not provided.
