Matthias Hofmuth

Matthias Hofmuth has a diverse work experience spanning various companies and roles. Matthias is currently the VP Finance & People at Temedica since March 2022. Prior to this, they served as a Member of the Board of Advisors at CLEVIS starting from September 2021. From June 2020 to March 2022, they were the Head of People & Organization at Xentral ERP Software GmbH. Additionally, Matthias worked as a Lecturer at Campus M21 from October 2018 to March 2022. In terms of entrepreneurial experience, they founded Digital Solutions & Services GmbH in 2019, which operated until 2020.

Matthias Hofmuth's previous roles include Director HR at FlixBus from August 2014 to November 2019, during which they also served as the Head of HR USA from November 2018 to May 2019. Matthias has held various HR leadership positions at FlixBus, such as Head of Human Resources, Head of Recruiting & International HR, and Team Lead International HR. Prior to this, they worked as a Senior Human Resources Manager at FlixBus.

Matthias also has experience in academia, having worked at LMU - Ludwig-Maximilians-Universität München. Matthias held roles in People, Analytics, and Research from May 2010 to May 2014, and as a Data Analyst and Junior Researcher from October 2009 to April 2010.

Early in their career, Matthias completed an Internship in Finance & HR at Landwärme GmbH from April 2008 to September 2009, and worked in the Tax & Treasury department at Telefónica Germany from October 2006 to March 2008.

Matthias Hofmuth completed their education in a chronological manner. Matthias earned a Diplom degree in Human Resource Education & Management from Ludwig-Maximilians-Universität München, studying from 2005 to 2010. Following this, they pursued a Master's degree in Master of Business Research at the same university, studying from 2010 to 2012. Lastly, they earned a Dr. oec. publ. degree in Entrepreneurship/Entrepreneurial Studies from Ludwig-Maximilians-Universität München, completing their studies from 2012 to 2014.
