Co-Founder, Head of Speech Recognition and Machine Learning at Temi

Miguel Jetté has a long and varied work experience. Miguel began their career in 1996 as a Server and Bartender at Cages Aux Sports. In 2001, they were a Student's Assistant at McGill University's Mathematics and Statistics Department. From 2004 to 2006, they were a Scientific Software Developer at McGill Centre for Bioinformatics and a Principal Speech Scientist at Nuance. In 2014, they became a Senior Research Scientist at VoiceBox Technologies. In 2016, they were Vice President of Artificial Intelligence, Head of AI R&D, and Director of Speech R&D (rev.ai) at Rev. In 2017, they became Co-Founder and Head of Speech Recognition and Machine Learning at Temi.com. Finally, in 2011, they were a Web Developer (volunteer) at the Ontario Access Coalition.

Miguel Jetté attended College de Maisonneuve from 1997 to 1999, where they earned a DEC in Science. Miguel then attended McGill University from 1999 to 2004, where they earned a B.Sc. in Mathematics and Computer Science. Miguel returned to McGill University from 2004 to 2006, where they earned an M.Sc. in Mathematics and Statistics.
