Don Baker

Don Baker currently serves as Assistant Principal at Mountain Pointe High School and has held this position since June 2023 within the Tempe Union High School District. Prior to this role, Don held positions as Dean of Students at both Mountain Pointe High School and Tempe High School. Don's educational career began as a teacher at Mesa Public Schools and the Florence Unified School District No. 1, where additional responsibilities included coaching softball. Before transitioning to education, Don gained experience in the corporate sector with roles such as Regional Account Manager at CDW and National Account Executive at Limelight Networks. Don Baker holds a Master of Education in Educational Leadership and Administration from the American College of Education and two Bachelor's degrees in Political Science from California State University, Long Beach, and Towson University.
