Michelle Cabanillas

Michelle Cabanillas, LMSW, is an experienced social worker and therapist currently serving as a Social Worker at Tempe Union High School District since July 2023 and as a Therapist at Women's Health Innovations of Arizona since January 2024. Prior to these roles, Michelle worked with the Arizona Department of Education, holding positions as Director of School Safety and Social Wellness and Social Worker/Counselor Specialist from November 2020 to July 2023. Michelle's earlier experience includes serving as Lead Social Worker and Social Worker at Roosevelt School District from July 2014 to November 2020, and as a Social Worker at Paradise Valley Unified School District from July 2006 to June 2014, where responsibilities included case and crisis management as well as group sessions. Michelle began professional work as a Social Worker for Roosevelt School District in 2001, focusing on families of students in special education.
