Zhe Kang

Zhe Kang is an experienced Mandarin educator currently serving as a Mandarin teacher at Tempe Union High School District since July 2023, where Zhe is the founding teacher of higher division Chinese classes including Honors Mandarin 4 and AP Chinese Language and Culture. Prior experience includes roles as the founding Mandarin teacher and middle school elective lead at Kyrene Elementary School District, where Zhe significantly enhanced student enrollment in Mandarin programs and ensured high success rates on placement tests. Zhe has also worked with BASIS.ed, Brooklyn Prospect Charter School as an IB Mandarin teacher, Harvard-Beijing Academy, Boston Public Schools, and New Oriental Education & Technology Group, showcasing a robust background in curriculum development and student leadership. Zhe holds a Master of Education from Harvard Graduate School of Education and a Master of Arts from Peking University, among other academic qualifications.
