Dave Freund

Dave Freund has had a varied work experience, beginning in 2009 when they worked as a Special Education Paraprofessional for the San Francisco Unified School District. In 2012, they became an Ecological Restoration and Stewardship Intern for the Golden Gate National Parks Conservancy. In 2014, they took on the role of Graduate Assistant Technician at San Francisco State University, where they were responsible for Genomics/Transciptomics Analysis Core and Illumina MiSeq NGS Library Prep. From 2016-2021, they worked as a Research Associate and Senior Research Associate at Aduro Biotech. Currently, they are a Senior Research Associate at Tempest Therapeutics.

Dave Freund completed their Bachelor's Degree in Neurobiology and Behavior from Emory University in 2006. Dave then went on to receive their Master's Degree in Biology from San Francisco State University in 2015.
