Tim Nersten

Tim Nersten has an extensive work history spanning over two decades. Tim most recently held the position of Head of Distribution and Partnerships at Templum, Inc. starting in October 2022. In this role, they were responsible for expanding the company's presence in various industries, acquiring and educating prospects and partners, and negotiating contracts. Prior to that, from January 2021 to October 2022, they served as the Managing Director and Head of Partnerships and Liquidity Strategy at Securitize. In this role, they focused on building partnerships and implementing liquidity strategies. Before that, from January 2020 to January 2022, Tim worked as the Head of Strategy at OptimX, where they led strategy and relationship efforts for a prelaunch FinTech/TradeTech startup. Tim also has significant experience at Liquidnet, where they held various roles including Co-Head of Algorithmic Services Group and Head of Liquidity Partnerships from September 2003 to January 2020. Tim also worked at brut as part of their institutional coverage team from 2000 to 2003, and at dreyfus in client services from 1998 to 2000.

Tim Nersten received their Bachelor of Business Administration (BBA) in Marketing from Hofstra University in 2000. Tim then completed their Master of Business Administration (M.B.A.) in Strategic Management at Hofstra University from 2012 to 2014. Currently, they are pursuing a Doctorate of Business Administration in Financial Markets at the Fox School of Business at Temple University.
