Derek Veenstra

Derek Veenstra has a diverse work experience in software development and management roles. Derek began their career in 2009 as a Game Tester at Silicon Knights. In 2010, they joined Brock Solutions as a Software Developer, where they focused on developing web dashboards using ASP.NET MVC, Entity Framework, and React.js. Veenstra then transitioned to Roadmunk in 2016, initially working as a Web Developer and later becoming a Development Manager. During their time at Roadmunk, they gained valuable experience managing and leading development teams. Most recently, in 2023, Veenstra joined Tempo Software as a Senior Software Development Manager, where they continue to contribute their expertise in software development and management.

Derek Veenstra attended Wilfred Laurier University from 2005 to 2009, where they earned a Bachelor of Science (B.Sc.) degree in Computer Science.
