Brian Hogan

Brian Hogan is the Director of Education at Temporal Technologies. Brian was previously the Senior Manager of Technical Editing at DigitalOcean from June 2016 to March 2022. Brian built and managed a team of technical editors that produced hundreds of high quality tutorials for millions of developers. Brian oversaw the integration of two content acquisitions, adding over 1000 pieces of new content to our library, resulting in increased traffic, conversions, and awareness. Brian also developed content strategy for new and existing content verticals aligned with product and company strategy, resulting in increased traffic and new customers year over year. Brian used data to set and execute publishing goals for our team, increasing publishing output, traffic, and revenue year over year for three consecutive years. Brian also worked cross-functionally with internal and external partners to produce relevant and timely content to drive customer adoption, resulting in multiple high-performing pieces of content. Furthermore, Brian coached direct reports through professional development plans and promotion plans, resulting in successful re-leveling of multiple team members. Lastly, they created DigitalOcean's first collection of interactive tutorials featuring an embedded terminal.

Brian Hogan has a Bachelor of Business Administration (B.B.A.) from University of Wisconsin-Eau Claire in Management Information Systems, General. Brian also has certification from LinkedIn in Having Difficult Conversations, Leading at a Distance, and Leveraging Virtual and Hybrid Teams for Improved Effectiveness. Brian Hogan is also certified from the Federal Communications Commission in Amateur Radio Technician license.
